We would like to say a huge thank to Stephen Lowe DL FCIB for recently presenting the Mayor of Oldham with a generous cheque in support of our Truly Wished campaign.
Stephen handed over the cheque on behalf of the Greater Manchester Lieutenancy, with their donation now set to go towards the very first lot of wishes set to be granted.
“I’m very grateful to receive this donation on behalf of the Greater Manchester Lieutenancy,” said the Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Zahid Chauhan OBE.
“It’s wonderful to see people and organisations coming forward already in support of my campaign and I look forward to seeing this money being put to good use as we begin to grant people’s wishes over the coming weeks.”
